SACRED HISTORY for June 2nd

1978   Original version of “My Divine Disclosure” is Given,  ~The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary

Winter’s cold alternates with summer’s heat. Pain, Likewise, Follows every pleasure. Every appearance Is (Inevitably) Followed By its disappearance. There Is No Permanent experience In The Realm Of Cosmic Nature. One whose heart-Feeling of Me Is Steady Simply Allows All Of This To Be So. Therefore, one who Truly Hears Me Ceases To Add self-Contraction To This Inevitable Round of Changes.
Happiness (or True Love-Bliss) Is Realization Of That Which Is Always Already The Case.
I Am That Which Is Always Already The Case.
Happiness Is Realization Of Me.
—Avatar Adi Da Samraj, “My Divine Disclosure”

1986   Adi Da Samraj Sits in the tent at the Love of the God-Man Holy site and Grants Darshan to 800 people, including the public for the first time since the formal opening of the Ashram on Melrose in 1972.  ~The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary.

1995   Adi Da Samraj Gathers with devotees and Describes how ego-transcending practice requires one-pointed feeling-attention, or “radical” devotion, to Him.

His Divine Presence, Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da, Says:

“Rather than wandering in your attention and seeing everything separately, you must make it feeling-attention to Me, now, in this moment. That is the moment to moment practice. If you do not transform your personal existence into this feeling-attention, ‘radical’ devotion to Me—ego-surrendering, ego-forgetting, and ego-transcending—you are not doing your devotional practice, you are wandering. In your wandering and reduction of everything from feeling to energy and then back further to just ‘matter’ and ‘things’ and ‘stuff’, you are chaotic and disturbed. Then, in that condition, you keep inventing questions and ‘problems’ and forms of seeking. You ask Me things about all of that–and, in that case, you are basically asking Me how you can make utopia out of your suffering.

Whereas, what I am always Doing in My Response to you is Calling you to epitomize all of that: One-pointed feeling-attention to Me. This is devotional practice. And there are various disciplines associated with that ability to give Me this feeling-attention, and that is all the disciplines of attention and of the body-mind-complex–in other words, the ‘conscious process’ and ‘conductivity’ practice.”  ~Adi Da Samrajashram
