SACRED HISTORY for June 4th

1978  Adi Da Samraj Writes the Essay “Sudden and Gradual Enlightenment”, which is His Free Rendering of verses sixteen through thirty-seven of chapter two, book two, of the Bhagavata Purana, later published in The Enlightenment of the Whole Body.

His Divine Presence, Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da, Writes:

“There is no other or easier Path by which born ‘souls’ may Realize the Love-Bliss of the Living God.

There is, indeed, only the Single Path, which may be followed either slowly or suddenly to the True Heart. It is the Great Path of ego-surrender in devotional Communion with My Self-Existing and Self-Radiant Self-Nature, Self-Condition, and Self-State, the All-Pervading and Transcendental Spiritual Divine Person.

Those who Hear this Teaching See Me As the Divine Person, the Divine Avataric Self-Nature, Self-Condition, and Self-State of the human heart. They are cleansed, forgiven, and altogether purified of all impulses toward ‘experience’ in the realm of conditional nature, and they certainly Realize Me–the Love-Blissful Person, the Self-Radiant Consciousness That Is the Eternal Matrix, Truth, and Destiny of the ‘world’.”  ~Muliwai, Oahu, Hawaii
