SACRED HISTORY for December 1st

1975   Adi Da Samraj Gives the Talk “The Cooperative Order”, in which He Discusses the limits of the political and societal agendas of “liberalism” (which promotes monopolistic centralized institutions and ever more costly social programs, and does not responsibly relate people to the sources of life) and “conservatism” (which only wants to eliminate programs while offering no alternative, and fails to educate people and help them establish another principle of life that would make them no longer dependent).

His Divine Presence Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da then Reveals how to transcend both agendas:

“Establish community, or cooperative order, as the practical foundation of human life, then government can become more truly conservative.

Establish the principle of community, along with the principle of minimal centralized, or monopolistic, institutions that are themselves basically conservative in their approach.

These two things are essential to one another. Community is the basis of the possibility of an essentially controlled environment, a pre-solved environmental life. Without community, you cannot make the kinds of political, cultural, and social changes that bring an evenness to a human being’s ‘experience’, a kind of predictability, a kind of order.”  ~The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary
