 1993  Adi Da Samraj Gives the Talk “Don’t Do That Anymore”, in which He Describes real devotional practice as resting on a foundation of practical “self”-discipline, the passing of tests, and progressively going beyond one’s limitations, through the embrace of the life of the transcending of egoity and “self”-discipline rather than a life of settling for the typical pattern of so-called “religious people”, of “lapsing, or failing, feeling some regret, confessing it, apologizing, and reaffirming the intention to live rightly, but not actually doing so”.  ~Adi Da Samrajashram
