SACRED HISTORY for October 16th

1982  Adi Da Samraj Writes the Essay “The Transcendence of Life and Death”, in which He Says:

“A lifetime of ‘consideration’ and transcending of all ‘experience’ becomes recognition of all levels of conditionally manifested being as forms of ‘self’-contraction and all levels of phenomenal appearance (including the various lights of the Cosmic Mandala) As the same One Transcendental Spiritual Realm, Which is Identical to and Most Ultimately Outshined by the Love-Bliss of Divine Ignorance, or Transcendental, Inherently Spiritual, and Self-Evidently Divine Being.

All of the levels of conditionally manifested being (or ‘self’-contraction) and all of the forms and lights of phenomenal appearance are Most Ultimately to be Divinely Self-Recognized as transparent, or merely apparent, non-binding, and non-necessary modifications of Transcendental, Inherently Spiritual, and Self-Evidently Divine Being, Consciousness, or Love-Bliss—to the degree that all forms of conditionally manifested being and all the lights and realms of phenomenal appearance are Divinely Transfigured and Divinely Transformed by, and (Most Ultimately) Divinely Translated into, the Love-Bliss of Transcendental, Inherently Spiritual, and Self-Evidently Divine Being, or My Divine Self-Domain, Which is eternally, or Always Already, Infinitely Above (or over the head and mind of) and also Prior to (or at the heart-‘root’ of) all conditional states and forms.”

Adi Da then Concludes:

“The significance or maturity of the Spiritual process in the case of every individual is to be measured by the depth or degree of completeness in which all the various levels of conditionally manifested being are involved, inspected, understood, and transcended in the process.

Therefore, the Spiritual process in individuals is measured by the quality and degree of energy and attention available for the total affair of direct ‘consideration’ and transcending of conditional or phenomenal existence, both during life and after physical death.”  ~Da Love-Ananda Mahal
