1982  Adi Da Samraj Writes the Essay and Gives the Talk “What Is the Conscious Process?”, later published as part of His book of the same name.

His Divine Presence Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da Writes:

“Do not think you can ‘take Heaven by storm’.

The mere ego-‘I’ thought is not now an indicator of the Great One. The ego-‘I’ is ‘Narcissus’—more than a thought, but a profoundly complex pattern of destiny.

You must first transcend the complex ego-‘I’ through real practice of the ego-transcending Way.

And I am always Present to Help you Awaken from your sleep, your dreams, and your waking conceits.

That Awakening, in the midst of the hard school of the transcending of egoity, and in the constant swoon of Divine Communion, is the ‘conscious process’ that I Teach.”  ~Da Love-Ananda Mahal.
