1982 Adi Da Samraj begins a “Consideration” with devotees, a time of His Divine Instruction later referred to as “The Yoga of ‘Consideration’”, in which Adi Da Samraj makes the point that the practice of the Way that He Teaches is “radical” and transcends all the phenomena of the first six stages of life.

His Divine Presence, Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da, Says:

“The Way That I Teach is not this Yoga of ‘consideration’ of the six stages of life. The Way That I Teach Is the Reality-Way of ‘Radical’ Intuition, or the seventh stage of life, the Self-Abiding Divine Self-Recognition of what arises in the Transcendental, Inherently Spiritual, and Self-Evidently Divine Reality.

Previous to the seventh stage of life, you practice the Yoga of the ‘consideration’ of the stages of life, which is an appropriate form of participation in the culture of the Reality-Way of Adidam. But to practice the stages of life is not appropriate.

In the Reality-Way of Adidam, every thing is to be transcended, every one. In the Reality-Way of Adidam, all relations, all possibilities are to be transcended—Ultimately, Outshined.” ~The Mountain Of Attention

1993 Adi Da Samraj Gathers with devotees and Discourses on the fundamental responsibility of all practitioners of Adidam:

“You are living a life, seeking satisfaction with ‘objects’ and ‘others’ (through reactivity and desiring).

Reactivity, desiring, seeking toward ‘objects’ and ‘others’—these are the results of something much more fundamental, which you must observe and understand and become responsible for. It is the ‘self’-contraction itself. That is ‘Narcissus’.

True responsibility in the Reality-Way of Adidam involves your discovering this, therefore, abiding moment to moment in this awareness of the ‘self’-contraction, feeling beyond it in devotional Communion with Me.”

His Divine Presence, Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da, then Says:

“The Reality-Way of Adidam is about truly, most fundamentally, discovering that you are ‘Narcissus’, so that you can look up from the ‘pond’, enter into this devotional Communion with Me, heart-awake, heart-open, able to ‘Locate’ the Revelation of What Is.” ~Adi Da Samrajashram
