1978 Adi Da Samraj Writes the Essay “The Law in My Company”, originally published in The Bodily Location of Happiness.

His Divine Presence Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da Writes:

“The Divine Avataric Master Incarnates the Self-Existing and Self-Radiant Divine Consciousness in bodily (human) Form. Thus, the Divine Avataric Master Manifests not only human qualities but also the Divine Qualities. All ‘experiences’, positive or negative, arise within or as modifications of the Self-Existing and Self-Radiant Divine Consciousness.

Therefore, those who presume to live in the Company of the Divine Avataric Master are Given ‘experiences’, but always according to the Divine Law. If they surrender themselves to the Divine Avataric Master, and if they constantly transcend themselves through devotional Communion with the Divine Avataric Master, under all conditions and via all psycho-physical functions, then they are Given the benign Destiny that purifies and Enlightens.

However, if they approach the Divine Avataric Master like thieves, merely imitating devotees in order to gain ‘self’-glamorizing ‘experiences’ and ‘worldly’ status, or if they simply refuse the Divine Avataric Master, by their ego-possessed and ‘self’-meditative ways, then they are given the negative, or ‘self’-defining, destiny that binds the body-mind-complex to its own limits and excludes the Realization of the Divine Reality.”

Adi Da then Concludes:

“This Is the Divine Law, and Its effects are inevitable.

The Law Is always Perfected in My Company. Therefore, do not approach Me except in the mood and action of My true devotee. And, as My true devotee, always live as if in My personal Company.

Do nothing that is not a form of devotional Communion with Me.

Do nothing that is not service to Me.

Do nothing that is presently or ultimately a strategy to serve or glamorize your own body-mind-complex in itself and apart from Me. But always Remember Me.

Study My Reality-Teaching. Keep My Name and My bodily (human) Form in mind.

Meditate on Me according to the Instructions I have Given for your stage of practice-demonstration of the Reality-Way of Adidam.

Hear about Me from My other devotees.

Be constantly attentive to Me in My Personal Form and My Divine Mood.

Live in constant obedience, or sympathetic conformity, to Me.

Surrender the whole body to Me.

Such is the manliness of humankind, male or female. All other ways are the path of ‘Narcissus’, who gains nothing but the illusion of separate and separative ‘self’ and the bewildering results of countless bodily and mental actions.” ~Da Love-Ananda Mahal
