1984 Adi Da Samraj Gathers with devotees and Reads from His latest Writings for His “Testament Of Secrets”, Answering devotees’ questions about the devotional practice of mala japa.
His Divine Presence Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da Says:
“What makes mala japa specifically useful as a technical device is that it requires you to concentrate bodily attention that is otherwise tending to be scattered.
The practice of mala japa is actually a yantra. It is circumambulation, or yantra, reduced down to the size of the mala, and you make a circuit.
When you use the mala, be aware of it as you would be on a walk around My House. Be very aware of it. Concentrate your physical attention there—not to the exclusion of everything else—be aware of everything associated with this act of prayer, fundamentally My Presence.” ~Adi Da Samrajashram
