SACRED HISTORY for February 16^th

1993  Adi Da Samraj Gathers with devotees and Discourses on His Passionate Impulse to Write and to Create, urging each devotee to find his or her own creative area of service to Him.

His Divine Presence, Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da Says:

“Something like My Impulse is what all creative people ‘experience’—and all of you are creative in one fashion or another. You simply must discover where you are creative.

Where is your ‘demon’?

Where is your impulse?

To what area of life is your energy drawn creatively? Where is your service, in other words?

That is what each of you must find out, because each one of you is a genius at your service when you discover what your service is. Of course, when you do discover it, then you must do what geniuses do! Each of you has a genius in you, a ‘demon’ bent to serve positively, a course for your energy so that you may fulfill the work you were born to do in My Company.

You must discover your genius. You must discover where your energy goes. And when you discover what your service should be in My Company, then do that service with a will.

Make it real service to Me. And transcend yourself through your real service to Me, whatever it is. Such transcending of egoity in the context of service makes your service as sacred an art as any of the so-called ‘fine arts’.”  ~Adi Da Samrajashram
