SACRED HISTORY for March 28th
1986 Adi Da Samraj Gathers with devotees and reads from His newly Written Essay “The Order of Renunciate Names” (which He later extensively revises and expands, and divides into two separate Essays, “The Order of My Free Names” and “The Orders of My True and Free Renunciate Devotees”), Expounding upon the Gifts of renunciation and Realization in His Divine Avataric Company.
His Divine Presence Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da Says:
“I do not presume that I have anything more to Teach. You have the Teaching. So, in the future, all that I Offer you is My Divine Avataric Company. In proximity to this Body or not, the Offering of My Divine Avataric Company is extended to you in every moment. If you enter into My Divine Avataric Company, then you will hear My constant Call to Hermitage, to the Place of My Person.
The more fully you enter into My Divine Avataric Company, the more you will understand, the more directly you will realize that My Hermitage, the Place of My Person, Is where you Stand, As Consciousness Itself, Which I Am, Which Is Transcendental Spiritual and All-Pervading. The quicker you Realize It, the sooner you will be Free of all seeking, all supports, all obligations of practice. And, in that case, there is only the inherent practice that is Realization Itself, Which Divinely Transfigures and Divinely Transforms and (Most Ultimately) Outshines all conditional appearances.”
Adi Da then Says:
“It is foolish to bind Consciousness to conditional existence, conditional opportunity, through attention, and so to abandon the Inherent Love-Bliss of the Transcendental Spiritual Divine ‘Self’, the ‘Self’ of all-and-All.
The discipline of renunciation, or the transcending of egoity, is nothing more than this release of the bondage of attention, release of the tendency of attention to bind Consciousness to this ‘object’, to that ‘other’, that pleasure, that pain—so that when that release becomes easeful, attention collapses on its Source-Condition, the True Heart, the Love-Bliss That Is Consciousness Itself, even Prior to Witnessing. That Very ‘Self’, or Consciousness Itself, Is the Divine, the Ultimate, the Absolute. It is the Great Giver, Da, Grace Itself—not merely emptiness hanging there in the dark, but the Great One.
Therefore, when attention collapses in That One, by Grace, the Very ‘Self’ communicates the Realization of Its Status. When This Grace Awakens, and if any conditions arise, they are Divinely Self-Recognized. There Is Only Freedom, regardless of what arises.” ~Adi Da Samrajashram
