SACRED HISTORY for January 18th
1994 Adi Da Samraj Gathers with devotees and Gives a Discourse on the fundamentals of the practice of “radical” devotion, later published as “The Nameless, Mindless, Thoughtless, Presumptionless, Knowledgeless Love-Bliss-Current of Existence” in My “Bright” Form.
His Divine Presence, Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da Samraj, Says:
“I Call you to give your attention to Me. This is the Gift, this is the Realization—moment to moment, day by day, in the midst of all of these arising appearances that concentrate you otherwise. Every moment is different, but always you are always tending to be concentrated (bodily, emotionally, mentally, with every breath) in limitations.
To practice ‘radical’ devotion to Me is always—whatever is arising in any moment—to be ‘self’-surrendered and ‘self’-forgotten in Communion with Me, always entering into That Which Is Reality Itself (through Communion with Me) and forgetting the rest.”
Adi Da goes on to Say:
“All the events of your life are inherent in the fault you have already presumed. Those events are not the Way of Divine Self-Realization, and they are not Reality Itself. In every moment, then, your obligation is ‘radical’ devotion to Me, turning directly to Me, in devotional Communion with Me, forgetting yourself—not making much of the apparent events, but forgetting them, and giving Me your body, your emotion, your feeling, your mind, your attention, with every breath, moment to moment to moment. Be preoccupied with Me, and forget the rest—not by intending to forget it all, but by being preoccupied with Me. Do not look back.” ~Adi Da Samrajashram
