SACRED HISTORY for May 10th

1988  In a Gathering with the Northern California Community of His devotees at the Danda in San Rafael, Adi Da Samraj Responds to many devotees’ questions and Clarifies many matters of the practice of the Reality-Way of Adidam, including the practice of the sacred art of devotional chanting and the necessity to engage all of the sacred arts as ego-transcending devotional Communion with Him.

His Divine Presence Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da Says:

“People who made sacred performance of any of the arts traditionally went through a long period of training to get ‘themselves’ out of it. But you do not get yourself out of the art or any kind of work that you may be doing simply because you think it is a good idea to do so. You have to work, do ego-transcending practice, the specific practice of transcending yourself, and you have to do it not only in relation to, perhaps, some artistic work you may be wanting to do, but in relation to every aspect of your life.”

Adi Da Concludes by Saying:

“The greatest art form of all is the practice of Real-God‑Realization.”  ~San Rafael, California
