1993 Adi Samraj Gathers with devotees and “Considers” the simplicity and the effectiveness of true devotional resort to Him, in the Discourse “The Master Is The Means”, later published in My “Bright” Form.

His Divine Presence Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da Says:

“Because you are bound in separateness and helpless in this ‘world’, you must take refuge in That Which Is Great and Which Grants you Salvation. That Divine Reality Is the Truth, and It Is the Law. You must find this out and respond. Until you do, your practice is superficial—not profound, not greatly fruitful. Therefore, the Fundamental Principle My devotees must ‘consider’ and embrace is ‘radical’ devotion to Me, Salvation by resort to My Divine Avataric Grace and reception of My Divine Avataric Grace. The Reality-Way of Adidam, Which only I have Revealed and Given to you, is not merely for Westerners (meaning that part of the ‘world’ that defines itself as specifically ‘Western’ rather than ‘Eastern’). The Reality-Way of Adidam is for all beings—therefore, for all of humankind.

The Reality-Way of Adidam rescues you from your distance from Real God. The Way of life I am Talking about Is Me. I Am That—not symbolically, but Actively—the Siddhi of Means Fully Alive, Fully Conscious, Fully Active. This is what you must understand about the Yoga of devotional turning to Me. It is not a ‘self’-generated ‘technique’, or a ‘do-it-yourself method’ of working on yourself by focusing your attention on Me. Rather, the Yoga of devotional turning to Me is about the Great Process of My Divine Avataric Grace. My Divine Avataric Grace is the reason you turn (and, thereby, surrender) to Me.

Surrender is all I Did with My Teachers. That was it. In fact, They did not communicate to Me any significant technicalities. I found out about all of that on My Own. Basically, the communication given to Me by each of Those Who Served Me was devotional surrender to the Guru. Just that—just that. Nothing else—nothing else. I did not practice any ‘techniques’ with Rudi, or Swami (Baba) Muktananda, or Bhagavan Nityananda, or the Divine Goddess. Everything occurred spontaneously, because My Devotion was True and Complete. My Surrender to My Teacher was the only thing I Did. Why did My Teachers communicate to Me so simply? Because I was entirely Available for just that simplicity. It is what They did also, by the way, with Their Teachers—just so simply. This is what Rudi did with Bhagavan Nityananda and Baba Muktananda. This is what Baba Muktananda did with Bhagavan Nityananda. This is what Bhagavan Nityananda did with His Sources. In that sense, My devotees are part of a tradition of Guru-devotion that has been proven for thousands of years. It is the Esoteric Secret of the Great Tradition of humankind.” ~Adi Da Samrajashram
