SACRED HISTORY for June 20^th

1973  Adi Da Samraj Gathers with devotees and Gives the Talk “Guru, Faith, and Satsang”.

His Divine Presence, Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da, Says:

“Faith, in the genuine sense, is the principle of Spiritual life. It is Satsang, it is the living of the condition of Satsang.

It is not just believing everything is going to be all right. No, it is the ‘radical’ assumption of the condition of Satsang, so it is not independent of understanding.

Only understanding permits this principle of faith to be alive in you.

The faith I am Talking about is founded in insight, in ‘radical’ understanding of your condition. Just so, Satsang Itself, Satsang with the Guru, is not independent of understanding. You cannot just sort of believe in the Guru and have emotional aesthetic feelings toward the Guru as an individual. That is conventional ‘religion’—that is cultism.
