SACRED HISTORY for April 7th
1978 Adi Da Samraj Writes the Essay “The Bodily Structure of the Self-Transcendence of Man” (later published in The Enlightenment of the Whole Body) in which He Says:
“The whole body view of the Divine Life is epitomized in the disposition of the human heart. The heart is not the exclusionary inner center of Real-God-Realization, but the epitome of the whole bodily integration and ‘self’-sacrifice in Real God.
The brain core is the highest structural center of your functional association with the Self-Radiant Transcendental Spiritual Current, but the heart is the disposition in which all centers, functions, and ‘experiences’, high and low, are integrated and made into a single sacrifice, or offering, to (or act of worship and love of) Real God.”
His Divine Presence Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da goes on to Say:
“Individuals have always exploited their structural potential, both high in the body and low in the body. But all such adventures ‘miss the Mark’ at last. You must Awaken as the body-mind-complex in every part, above and below, but you must do so through the whole bodily disposition of the heart—which is the ecstatic, or ‘self’-released, disposition of Divine Communion, of the sacrifice and transcending of egoity, whereby you are Dissolved in the Self-Radiant and Self-Existing Conscious Light That Is Beyond all ‘knowledge’.” ~The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary
1994 Adi Da Samraj Gathers with devotees and “Considers” the death process—how we can, by fully, devotionally participating in Reality Itself, understand death as simply a function of our participation, and so be released of our deepest fears, understanding that there is no “ending”—only a Great Process and our participation in it.
His Divine Presence Parama-Sapta-Na Adi Da Says:
“The esoteric process has been thought to be at war with phenomena. But that is not the true ego-transcending process. The true process is that of participation, meditation, Realization. And things fall off, then. Like flowers and seeds, bodies fall off, forms and functions fall off, in due course. But so what? Things have their time, and, in ego-transcending practice, things have their time.” ~Adi Da Samrajashram
